Overalls instantly make anyone’s style look more relaxed.
They are such a great way to anchor an outfit, like Fernanda does here… bringing together chunky patent boots, a white turtleneck, black coat, mini messenger bag and her seriously long hair.
But somehow it all works because her overalls relate to all of those different elements, drawing them together…

Confortable et stylee, la tenue ideale. J’aime particulierement les “godillots.”
I absolutely adore overalls. I wore them the first minute Gap started making them and had the most fun putting all kinds of shirts (crazier the better) and sweaters under them so I could wear them all year. The only problem was you were stuck with denim and baggy pants. I am ecstatic about the selection now, colors like black of course my my favorite, cuts and especially skinny legs. I just got a fantastic pair of Yamamoto overalls and suspect I will be wearing them all the time. What shirts do you think I could have fun putting under them now?

Très joli look, effectivement je suis d’accord avec Garance : gros godillots, salopette, col roulé blanc… ça n’est pas très sexy à priori. Le résultat ? Une tenue confortable et lookée !

I used to pull off the Osh Kosh look back when I was 16…where I come from, these are called Dungarees!
Pour bricoler, pour le jardinage, d’accord, autrement c’est un non catégorique, même si elle le porte superbement bien !
Je n’avais pas reporté de salopette depuis mon adolescence et je profite de ma grossesse pour en porter souvent, quel confort c’est génial!
Et comme j’habite à Madagascar, je les fais faire sur-mesure par une couturière dans de superbes tissus africains, improbable certes, mais je sens que je lance une mode là-bas ;)
En revanche, on est loin des tons neutres glamours, mais avec de jolis accessoires c’est très féminin, si si !
I love the idea of dungarees but in reality the only person I saw looking great in them was Alexa Chung- and it was only because she has legs like from here to next week (not my quote- Plum Sykes). So I will leave to Alexa and the like…
