A few weeks ago, I joined Miranda and Athina for a movie in the park. It’s one thing I really love about New York in the summer– there are always a million things to do, and I think its so cool to head to your favorite park, grab a blanket, some popcorn and maybe some rosé and catch a movie.
La Haine, a really good French film, was playing at Tompkins Square Park when we went. It was the perfect way to spend a summer night!

J’adore ce genre d’initiatives, cela rassemble les gens à l’extérieur, on profite un max du beau temps.
Dans mon coin, ils organisent une pièce de théâtre durant tout l’été dans les ruines d’une vieille abbaye…cela ajoute vraiment à la magie du spectacle!

Les soirées d’été à NY c’est le meilleurs de mes souvenirs.
Une de mes premières sortie était d’écouter le philharmonique dans Central Park. N’étant pas au fait des pratique de plaides et de bouteilles de rosé, qu’elle fut la surprise quand le couple de quinqua assis à coté de nous, nous à offert une bouteille.
Lorsque t’as 22ans tu te dis que tout est possible et que ces vacances seront inoubliables.

La semaine dernière j’ai Retour vers le futur à Williamsburg ! Enorme ambiance et grand moment de nostalgie. C’est clair, l’été à NY, on ne sait vraiment plus ou donner de la tête !

The first picture reminds me so much of when I was a small girl. It’s not a park, just a vacant plot in our neighbourhood, and it’s not a movie either, but a play, but it felt so much like this – the great anticipation, the heat, the breezes, the light. I’ve always missed it…

habillés cool et comme ont est futée, allongée dans un transats de location avec un grand sac de Haribo Fraise,J’adore……..
C’est l’occasion pour moi de voir ou revoir des grand succès avec les étoiles au dessus de notre t?te
.On peut même amener son pique-nique pour manger avec les copines avant la projection.

Ceci me rappelle les concerts de jazz les soirs d’ete au jardin botanique a Denver. Tout le monde arrive 2 heures avant le spectacle pour diner sur l’herbe, puis le spectacle commence et c’est de la pure magie que d’ecouter du jazz sous les etoiles.

I love this concept of cinema and the relationships that it can create between people (talking with people after the projection, …). It’s also a way to discover or rediscover movies :)

Well, this is something we miss in Cyprus. While studying in USA I had indulged in this pleasure and the easygoing outfits as the girls wear! But, now this is a good idea to organize for the kids in my back garden!!! xxxx

I ask simply because…Am I the only woman whose heels and soles get worn down, scuffed and dirty? Whose clothes sometimes have a crinkle or wrinkle? Whose skin becomes shiny and hair is less voluminous and bouncy by noon? Whose bag sometimes looks too full?
