Beyoncé Makeup Envy

Like everyone else in the world…
I spent Saturday night watching the new Beyoncé videos on my couch and one of the things I couldn’t stop thinking about (outside of what it would be like if Jay and B wanted to adopt me) was her amazing blue eye makeup. Whether it was the blue liner in Blow or the metallic blue smokey eye in Mine (above). It was so so good. I’ve tried blue mascara in the past but Beyoncé has me wanting to go big. Maybe New Year’s Eve will be a good time to take it for a test run?

YES! Her makeup in Blow was so incredible. The blue shadow (that you mentioned) plus the ultra glossy red lips were/are so perfect.
I love the makeup in the above picture – I have been so busy I haven’t gotten to the videos yet!
I am not sure I am a fan of the hair above though…

Hahaha, ça me fait vraiment rire de lire que Beyonce n’est pas humaine. Vous m’étonnez, elle est photoshopée à mort sur cette image. Vous avez déjà une une femme aussi lissée dans la vraie vie ? On dirait une image de synthèse.
Ok, c’est bien pour un clip, mais de là à vouloir s’identifier à des images aussi artificielles… Il faut revenir à la réalité de toute urgence sous peine de sombrer dans la dépression et de passer sa vie chez les chirurgiens esthétiques qui finiront par vous faire le même visage que Jocelyn Wildenstein.
Beyoncé est plutôt une heroine americaine. «Comme tout le monde sur la terre» est un gros overstatement. C’est une fille sympa et très jolie… mais de la à réver être comme elle.. non! trop maquillée, trop apprêtée.

Alors je suis mitigée, le maquillage est superbe, mais au risque de passer pour une rabat-joie : non, non, non et non, sa coupe de cheveux ne lui va pas ! (enfin, c’est seulement mon avis) ;-)

I like the eye makeup, but to be really honest – Beyoncé doesnèt strike me as a great artist. I really don’t get the hype, people act like she’s a goddess or something :s
