Fast meeting with Anna Dello Russo, who was presenting her collection for H&M the other day.
It’s a jewelry and accessories line, and their is some seriously cool pieces… And I also found the quality pretty excellent.
I’ve been wearing her “zebra” bracelet since then and everybody asks me where I got it…

Anna is fabulous…thanks for this vignette . Bryan Boy and ADR in 2 days ! … we are really being spoiled to catch a glimpse of these authentic characters with unique charm and creativity.
I was always a little bit skeptical about her style in seeing her only in static photos, but now I love her! What a lovely woman with a lovely energy. Her style, although much different from my own, definitely inspires. Thanks for sharing this!!

I love Anna’s bold style; I love that she always pushes her limit. After all, that’s what fashion is all about. People always say that they want to look unique, yet they’re afraid of what people might say about their outfits. Not Anna! Of course it’s important to pay attention to the venue and occasion. Obviously, you don’t want to wear what Anna wears to church or middle-east countries or even to malls. So.. aren’t we all grateful to have people like Anna who always sets the bar high? I am; but.. I just wish.. that she made better choices in portraying herself in videos. If I’m not mistaken, this is the 2nd time I saw her in a video that within 5-second of watching, I mumbled “What the hell is she thinking..” She dresses up really well, but she doesn’t brand herself well.

CHmm. Despite all the opinions Anna’s great. I’ve been passing nearby when she was standing with two young boys (twenty something) after a fashion show and I heard this:
Boys: Can we take a picture with you?
Anna: Sure!
Boys: We adore you. Would you like me to take you out for dinner?
Anna: Oh, do we have to rush? Let’s take a picture of us first!
Her video for H&M is a bit strangely stunning but I am totally taking one note from it – wearing coat as a dress to Milan’s fashion week!

Garance tu me rends tellement heureuse avec tes vidéos! J’adore de nouveau! La musique, les images, ton accent (j’en suis super fan), tes vêtements et les vêtements qu’on peut apercevoir dans les vidéos. J’ai l’impression d’être la caméra woman haha!

I love Anna because she seems so truly herself all the time. She has found a way to express herself fully through her clothing. It’s really beautiful and something to aspire toward.
I love the snake choker – very very cool. Wish we had H & M in New Zealand but no such luck. Might have to take a trip to the UK just to buy some of her jewellery haha. Loving the videos too – makes my lunch hour at work much more enjoyable :)

Sinon, si j’aime bien ces vidéos, je commence vraiment à me lasser des effets de caméra que je pourrais résumer ainsi “flou – net -flou – net – flou – net” mal aux yeux, mal à la tête !
Ce qu’il y a de bien avec ADR c’est qu’elle est constamment sappée comme si elle bossait rue Saint-Denis (et pas comme dame patronesse à l’église Saint-Leu-Saint-Gilles), mais qu’elle l’assume complètement :)

Lovely to hear you talking to Anna. I love how your blog is not ageist and anyone can be on there no matter what their age or look. I did find it hard to hear the dialogue sometimes though as the music was a little loud, was this just me?.
