You Can Go There

I’ve always been incredibly inspired by the women in my life who are true multi-disciplinary talents. Of course there is Garance, with her mix of writing, photography, illustration… a true triple threat if I do say so myself. But recently my friend and DORÉ woman, Caroline Ventura, shared with us that she was starting to expand her creative pursuits beyond jewelry. She shared some of her artwork with us when we shot her home a few months ago, but in addition to her painting, she’s also begun to share some of her photography. To me, very much a non-creative in my own eyes, what’s so impressive about women like Caroline is that their creative output can be channeled so effortlessly into so many outlets and mediums. It seems as if there’s always something beautiful bursting out of them.
So, I’m a very excited and proud friend to share that a show of Caroline’s photographs—called “YOU CAN GO THERE” will be on display at the Chaos Theory Gallery in Sag Harbor from July 6-22. The opening reception is on July 6th from 4-8pm. I know Caroline would love to see you there!
