The ultimate fad: exercise.
Whether you’ve been peer pressured into joining the “it” gym with your friend, attempted to contort your body into shapes you didn’t know possible with your free yoga app at home, joined a service that allows you to taste test classes throughout the city – they are all going to live out their life cycle, and you’ll be back to the drawing board to figure out how to get your sweat on.\
Personally, I find it thrilling (and ultimately rewarding) to make my way into my best friend’s gym (thank goodness she lives just 4 blocks from me!!), in the early morning as she plays personal trainer. This is how I get my fix today, though it’ll probably be another week or two before I’m onto the next sweat inducing adventure. Maybe a Beyoncé dance class, kickboxing, or even SkyRobics? With so many options and variations, what gets your heart racing??
I’m a loner. Happy to run/walk/ride the stationary bike first thing in the morning. Makes me feel good for the day. Also convenient to do it before showering, etc.
I also love love love Pilates. But that doesn’t make you disgusting sweaty. Twice a week. Best 2 hours of the week.
I love outdoor sports, every time I join a gym I never end up going. I like adrenaline sports, like kiteboarding, to get my heart racing! I am also a huge fan of skate skiing and nordic skiing in general. It’s so peaceful compared to the crowd scene of a ski resort.
