Tiny Cinema is insane – hilarious, mildly gory, often inappropriate, and highly original. I’m not just saying this because my cousin Tyler is the man behind them (but it doesn’t hurt to have bragging rights), but because the short films (1 minute each, formatted for Instagram) are unlike anything I’ve seen before.
Each film is a little nightmare (affectionately dubbed by Tyler + the Tiny Cinema team) that takes a common idea or experience, and twists it into a dark comedy. It’s hard to explain, but if offbeat humor that makes you laugh, albeit sliiiightly uncomfortably, is your thing, I really recommend giving them a watch.
