Time’s Up

Welcome to the Monthly Good mini! This is a new category for us, but the thought was that each month we could bring to you an initiative or program we’re supporting that’s doing some good in the world.
First up, we’re bringing you Time’s Up, a new legal defense fund launched this year that addresses inequality and injustice in the workplace for underrepresented groups. The organization was founded by women in the entertainment industry, and has the support of actresses like Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, America Ferrera and others (I’m sure you saw some of the pins at last night’s Golden Globes). The fund already has $14 million and is working to bring equality to the boardroom and payroll; and to fight for safety and fairness in the workplace.
