My new Doc Martens lace up!
Okay, I’m sure your thinking, “Yes Brie, all Doc Martens lace up!” But you see, these ones are different. They’re like if Frankenstein had a daughter and she wanted to wear lace-up ballet flats, I think these would be it.
For me, as soon as I saw them, I had to have them. They were my answer to a slightly more feminine shoe. Ok ok, they’re no Porselli’s, but its a step in that direction…sort of.

Doc Martens defined my 20s. 20 years later, I’d absolutely wear these, I especially like the shape of the toe.

Yes! What a great style. I was thinking that they were reminiscent of ghillies, but they are definitely derived from arbacas.
Now is there a trick to comfortably wear the laces all the way up your calf? That style never works for me.
OMG – these are so cute!! You know, I have two pairs of Doc Martens oxford (brogue) high wedges which are actually very cute and feminine.

Lire ce post et voir ces chaussures me rend très curieuse de savoir ton style Brie? Portes-tu des docs régulièrement? Es-tu du type un peu punkette? C’est drôle quand tu dis que ce ne sont pas des porselli, mais que tu te rapproches, ça a vraiment éveillé ma curiosité sur ton style! :)

Alors, je ne commente pas très souvent, mais là, j’avoue que je serais très curieuse de les voir portées….j’ai un faible pour Dc Martin, et j’avais adoré leur essai verni et gros lacets, alors là, je pourrais craquer :-)
