A great coat makes a GREAT outfit! That and a good pair of shoes you can walk in.

On my first trip to NYC, I bought a coat like that. It was known as a “reefer.” Don’t ask me why. And the trend at the time was to wear it with a huge square shawl, folded on the diagonal. I loved it. Timeless class.
I had some shoes like those, too. They were called Richelieu. So comfortable. I had them re-soled twice before the uppers gave out.
