The Clear Clutch

Downsizing doesn’t come easily for this girl, you remember my packing issues?
I tend to carry around a lot of stuff in my handbag: a variety of beauty products, a collection of sunglasses and enough bobby pins to pick the lock of a bank safe…
Anyway, I’ve been eyeing up this clear clutch from APC for summer. But with a great clear clutch comes great responsibility… I mean, everyone can see everything! Even though this style has a slight “tinted windows” effect, it will still show off my excessive lipstick collection to the world. So, I’m learning the art of editing. One lipstick, one set of shades, maximum three bobby pins, remove the Kindle you haven’t turned on in over a year, etc. On the plus side, the clear clutch does mean I won’t be digging around thinking I’ve lost my phone every 10 seconds…

I really love that trend, but as you said, it’s a lot of responsibility! I love my bag (Céline Mini luggage) because it HIDES how messy I really am! haha!

Hiiii, j’ai fait comme toi le moi dernier. Une PETITE (comme cela, obligée de faire restreint) pochette transparente de chez & Other Stories. J’arrive à caser 6 ral et pas un de plus. C’est beau, c’est propre, je les trouve tout de suite. La classe… Bon, il me reste encore à ranger le contenu de l’immense sac à main contenant la petite pochette :p
I like this version the best of the clear clutches I’ve seen so far because you can’t see EVERYTHING in it unless you’re up close. I do like the idea of editing down the handbag for summer – it’s hot enough as it is, and who wants to be sweating up a storm while lugging around a giant bag? Not me!
So true ! Maybe I should also get a transparant bag to get rid of my heavy packing habit

J’aime bien les PVC… mais je sais pas j’aime trop garder mes trucs personels je ne voudrais pas que la ville de Montréal sâche ce que j’ai dans mon sac. C’est beau pareille. :) Le petit sac que je porte c’est le Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip il est génial et très pratique. J’apporte que l’essentiel (porte-feuille, lipbalm,clés, iPhone, crème pour les mains, body mist) c’est là qu’on se rend compte qu’on appelle vraiment trop de trucs.

I have issues with clear clutches, cases, etc. because the whole world will see everything I carry around, kind of ideal for pickpockets?? But, I really like this tinted version, because of the subtlety it brings.

Not sure about everyday use but Fantastic for traveling and would save hunting through a suitcase for small things :). Kudos to you if you can edit and carry daily!
Not just a clear clutch but Furla’s Candy in every way, shape or form. Nevertheless I do wat the original Candy in black. I already have the Candy shoulderbag and a lovely McQueen pouch that can just hold a creditcard, mirror, lipstick a key and that’s all I need. Love, love, love clear bags.
