Soothed and Smoothed

I tend to think of my skin as a creature of her own desires and whims, her surface acting as a mood ring to her/my internal and external struggles in life. Of late (since moving to LA seven months ago), she really seems to have kicked it up a notch and is showing her rebellious side by breaking out into what appears to be itchy, dry baby acne on my very adult face.
So while the internet and everyone everywhere are currently talking about how to update your skincare and makeup routines to adjust to the warmer months and longer days filled with sunshine, I’m just out here trying to cope in the arid lands of LA. Instead of quenching my thirst for new beauty trends, I’m drinking loads of water and soothing my itchy skin with Pai‘s Back to Life Hydration Serum which is designed with sensitive skin in mind. I’ve never fully understood serums or antioxidants for the skin, but I know they’re important and this product checks both of those boxes and I’m not questioning it. Ever heard of pepperberries, riberries, or muntries? Me neither!
