PDA for LPA

The short sleeved, fitted sweater is my most ideal knit.

I’m even happy to publicly share my affection for the little knit that could – and should – be taken seriously. It covers that part of the arm most of us don’t love, it’s like a fancy version of a t-shirt, and this particular tan one from new label LPA has a lace-up neck-line to show just a wee bit of skin.

The only down side is you generally can’t throw them in the wash. Otherwise, a perfect top to transition into Fall! What do you think?

  • Why we are talking about fall already!!! Why everyone starting to switch into fall wardrobe!!! I’m I the only one who’s still living and forgetting everything in this summer sun! I refuse to switch to fall now. As I’m sitting watching the sunset in this summer day that was not so long ago -_- http://www.fashionparadoxes.com/2016/08/07/golden-hour-alexandria/

  • I like knits for summer too…Gentle wash Cycle and hang on a hanger ….dry fast in the summer

  • C’est vrai qu’il est pas mal du tout ce petit pull ?

  • Who is the woman on the picture?

  • I recently bought from Zara a similar shirt – it was on sale so I suppose it’s a piece from Zara’s SS16 collection. I was so happy it was 100% cotton and the tan colour is really easy to match with almost anything! I’m not so sure how to style the hanging threads though….leave them loose like in this pic or tie them up???

  • I’ve been actually eyeing a top of a similar shape lately! They look so 70’s and so chic, yet so easy to throw on.

    Pretty lady!!

I like how these look on others, but would never wear them in summer. I get so warm that I can only bear to wear very lightweight, loose cotton tops and pants or dresses, or silk tank tops.

If I am going to wear anything that is knitted and fitted, it will always have long sleeves (since I figure that if my torso needs to be warm, so do my arms), and be worn during cool months and never during summer.
