We can’t stop (and won’t stop!) watching this short film from Nowness.
The visuals of Paris are so striking, and are only elevated by the dancing forms and unexpected electronic soundtrack. You don’t need to be a ballet fan to appreciate this.
Director Louis de Caunes was inspired by the old world architecture of the Palais Garnier, where this was shot. He depicts the transformation of the Paris Opera Ballet so evocatively — as many are anticipating what it will become with Benjamin Millepied as the new Director of Dance.
It has us wanting to jump on the next plane to Paris… but, then again, that’s how we feel every day…
SO beautiful and creative….Paris is a world and opera de Paris is wonderful…feels like dancing..

That was really pretty, although the lifting move on the rooftop was a bit frightening. Gorgeous though, and looked as though she was flying at the end. Thanks for that Garance.

Those final shots are sublime – inverting the view so that the sky is below makes it all the more otherworldly.
Stunning. I am speechless. I want to go dance on the rooftops of Paris!
