I’m not going to dig into the archives for this one and try to impress you with my fashion street cred. My favorite collection happened just last year in 2017 with Celine’s Spring 2017 show. It was a year that many people (including me) hated for a myriad of other reasons, but at least Phoebe Philo pulled through. When I saw this collection my brain exploded. Honestly, I could gush about it for an inappropriate amount of time. The oversized suiting, the weird styling with the mismatched shoes, the color combinations, the Yves Klein-inspired dress, those incredible pearl earrings that I still dream about, the ladylike handbags. There is a light blue look, with red tights, a red bag, and sneakers that in any other hands would look insane, but in Phoebe’s looks perfect. Oh gosh, I’m getting exhausted just thinking about it. Phoebe, please come back!!!
