Creative Vibes!

This is my first spring in New York, and my excitement is through the roof. Don’t even get me started when I see flowers and leaves coming back to life! These past few days have brought 50 to 60 degree weather, making this tropical gal extremely happy. I bust out the door with my jean jacket and make it a mission to walk everywhere, exploring.
I’ve also made a little routine out of these spring-ish days that includes: iced lattes (which I’ve missed so much), checking out flower shops, hanging out at museums, and maybe even a bit of thrift/vintage shopping. In other words, things I couldn’t fully enjoy during the winter!
With all of this walking and wandering, I couldn’t possibly leave behind my little pen and notebook. I’ve found myself in coffee shops and subway rides writing literally anything. It varies from a tiny phrase to 3 full pages of words! This has got me thinking that whenever spring comes around, it feels like I press restart on my mind and literally everything around me sparks inspiration.
So, I advise all of you to get your creative juices flowing! Try channeling it every day. It reads as something intense, but it definitely doesn’t have to be that way. Even just 15 minutes of putting your energy onto something, your mind will thank you for sure.
I hope you get by with a little help from this playlist featuring songs that lyrically and rhythmically have helped me be more productive and have a clear vision of the ideas that are constantly going on in my head. Go on and do, creative beings!
