Beachwear in the City

Beachwear in the City

Beachwear in the city.

I personally love the idea, but sometimes feel I’m not dressed appropriately. Now you see woven totes everywhere, so is that considered a healthy balance?

What about beach cover-ups as daily wear? When it gets so humid and hot in the city, all you want to do is wear the least amount of clothing possible, but are beach cover-ups crossing the line? Swimsuits as tops are also going strong. I understand the practicality during the summer months. What do you think, does beachwear work as ready-to-wear?

    Off topic comment here but…

I have followed this blog via Feedly for years with no problems, but all of a sudden all the articles load in French instead of English. It’s driving me nuts! Does this site default to French for anyone else lately or is it just a problem with my browser?

    Hi Nicole,

We recently made the domain switch to garancedore.com which has created the RSS issue. We are working with our team to quickly fix this! x Natalie

Definitely not. I live inThessaloniki, northern Greece where temperatures and humidity levels are very high during the summer and I still don’t think it is appropriate to wear beachwear. Perhaps the woven tote is ok but the suimsuit worn as a top is a definite no no. There are beautiful clothes made of lightweight fabrics that can keep you cool and add points of style!

  • Dear Garance, since a couple of weeks there is something wrong with your blog on bloglovin! Even though I’m subscribed to the English version of the blog, it keeps showing the blog posts in French and I simply can’t read them! Please help! I’m having serious Garance deprivation!
    Love, Eva

    Bonjour,
    xo
