When I was invited to a breakfast to celebrate the launch of Alala’s collaboration with poet, Alison Malee, I immediately said YES. I mean, it was an event that combined three of my favorite things: breakfast, athleisure, and poetry! It only sounds like an unlikely combo until you’ve seen the capsule. The team at Alala paired up with Alison Malee to invoke their signature hoodie, workout tank, and tote bag with Alison’s inspiring, Feminist, and empowering words!
It ended up being the best way to start an otherwise dreary January morning–sipping hot coffee, munching on breakfast sandwiches, doing some free-journaling, and chatting with other women about our intentions for 2019. Not surprisingly, some of my intentions include both working out and writing more, especially poetry!
Annnd the tote perfectly stores my work clothes and the hoodie keeps me warm and motivated en route to the gym. :)
