Who’s That Lady?

In my ripe age of nearly 31, I’ve found myself drawn to dressing with a more lady-like disposition in mind. I don’t mean a kitten heel everyday, in winter that would be particularly hard – but more like the silhouette of this coat Ksenia wears by Sies Marjan.
It’s nipped at the waist more than ANY of my overcoats, and that periwinkle hue denotes all kinds of lady sensibilities. But the stiff cropped pant and flat boot keep it modern without going overboard and all Jackie O (no offense, the most chic!). The best ones I’ve seen are at nearly astronomical prices, but does this type of sleek coat only exist for those with big bank accounts and tiny waists?
For now, I’m still on the hunt…

Shop vintage/second hand and then visit a good tailor? That’s where my most outstanding coats have originated.

I love that style of coat, hopefully you will be able to get something with winter sales on now, I got a gorgeous double breasted pink duster coat from Zara recently, they may have something along the lines of what you are looking for :)
