I’ve always been a fan of Viviana’s style. So Italian, so playful, always with something super classic – even eight years ago when G first published her on the site (crazy!).
We usually catch Viv during fashion week, so it was especially fun to get a glimpse of her summer holiday style while the team was in Ibiza. Leaning towards light and summery, her looks are fun, feminine and in true Viviana fashion, capture a playful elegance.
Describe your style in 3 words:
Weekend attitude everywhere, every day.
What is your ideal outfit or uniform to wear every day?
Denim shirt on denim pants – sexy and casual!
Can you start by telling us a little about what you wore in Ibiza?
This summer I decided to only collect black or white clothes – which is a little challenging, and also unusual for me. I used to be primarily a colorful lady. But in the summer, black feels sexy and the perfect thing to wear against tan skin.
Your neutral palette sets the stage for your accessories – can you talk about your approach to wearing them?
The accessories I’m wearing are the same across all my looks – it’s a styling exercise to try and make them work continuously. I always wear the snake ring and Rolex watch. The ring was a gift from my best friends when we graduated college, and my big brother gave me the watch from his collection when I moved from my hometown to Milano.
How does being a working stylist in the industry affect your personal style?
It’s a privileged point of view. You can have a vision of what will be in for the next season, and you can choose to be part of it or find another direction. When you start to shape your own direction, you know you have enough experience to push your true personal style forward.

A couple of years ago, waiting for my train to Florence in Milan Central Station, a beautiful mirage passed me by. All dressed in white. I was immediately struck by her elegance even if she was running across the platform to catch her train. It was Viviana. Her sense of style is innate.

She is a goddess. To me the beauty of Viviana’s style is that she doesn’t try to be nobody else but herself. I find that very certain, fun and sexy, very italian.

Je n’ai jamais vu le noir comme une couleur d’été, mais Viviana m’a absolument convaincu. Elle la porte d’ailleurs, merveilleusement bien. Et l’idée de choisir ses vêtements en fonction de ses bijoux chéris, je trouve que c’est un grand art du style!
