With spring just around the corner, now is the perfect opportunity (or excuse, as any new season is) to revamp your wardrobe. Sometimes the key to your best new looks are already in your repertoire – or more specifically your sock drawer. For most of us, socks are more of a necessity than an accessory. I’m lucky if I get out the door with a matching pair on once a week. But now that the weather is getting warmer and the layers are starting to shed, it’s time to bust out some limbs in style. Enter, the statement sock. The perfect way to transition from winter coverage to light and airy spring dressing, a statement sock revitalizes your look without leaving you feeling too bare down there. Socks come in every color of the rainbow so keeping it fun and personal is easy to do! The best style is one that shows your personality so find a sock that’s uniquely you and treat your stems to some new spring style.
Stockings for a formal event? A thing of the past! Try a lace sock to dress up your look for a polished finish. Black-tie sock dressing is going to catch on; I’m calling it now.
Pattern on pattern is always on trend and a fun way to add a little something extra to your look. Try a sock with a subtle pattern or texture to add some layers and depth to your ensemble.
A pastel fishnet is the perfect addition of feminine edge to any look. Dress it up for night or down for day, you can’t go wrong either way!
It doesn’t get more timeless than a sock with a loafer. Try swapping your average sock with a graphic or patterned one (add a pop of color if you’re feeling daring), to achieve a fresh take on an old favorite.
