Plaid Patterns

It seems that checks, plaid, houndstooth – or any other synonym for the tartan trend – has made its way into the collective conscious of fashion week attendees. Just last week, I found myself in a camouflage of women all wearing some variation of it – myself included! And while the idea of dressing in packs might initially come across as discouraging – in fashion, it often feels more like camaraderie.
And what’s cool about this particular pattern – for now let’s just call it plaid – is that, in all it’s variations, it somehow acts as a kind of neutral. Just like camouflage, actually!
If I can embrace it, I think you can too, and thanks to these three stylish ladies spotted in Paris, we now have more inspiration for how to wear it!
