Elisa in Monaco
6 years ago by
Elisa Nalin is a woman who turns heads not only with her personal style (which is fun and bright and colorful) but also with her personality (which is fun and bright and colorful). Who else would be willing to dive head first into the Mediterranean with a watermelon shaped floatie? She’s our kind of lady.
How would you describe your style?
Eclectic, colorful, playful, very personal.
It can change a lot depending on my state of mind. For example one morning I will wake up feeling more tomboy and dress accordingly and the following day I could be all dressed up in a very feminine dress if I feel like it …
But my style definitely has some strong points you can always recognize, like the mix and match with different prints, playing with different textures and color blocking.
Where did your style originate from? What are its main influences?
All the family from my mother’s side was in art — painters, sculptors, art teachers — so I think part of my color passion must comes from there and the rest is just really inside my persona since I can remember. For example my passion for mint green goes back to my very, very young age.
I also feel that color is very therapeutic !
Wearing color bring a smile on your self and on others … I can tell you that for sure : )
Your collaboration with Princesse Tam Tam is full of color and embodies a happy spirit. What was your inspiration in designing this collection?
The inspiration behind the collection was really my ideal suitcase for my dream holiday destination, which is Sicily.
So I started to think first in term of items of clothing and then the colors and pattern and last but not least the very important details on each item.
So in the collection you‘ll find the things I’m “never without” during the summer… like a men’s shirt in stripes or a flower print, with a cute detail in the back. Or a high waisted, buttoned down skirt. Or a long maxi dress. And loads of cute bikinis and one pieces.
What are your packing essentials for a trip to the Mediterranean coast?
When I leave for holiday I always fly with a carry on suitcase. I like to stay light and feel free so I bring things I can wear all day and through the night by just adding a little bit of accessorization. But I bring minimal shoes because on holiday my biggest pleasure is to live barefoot ; )
J’adore le style d’Elisa ! Je suis tellement contente de la revoir par ici :)

I love the Princess Tam Tam merchandise, but how can I buy when I am based in USA? Do they not send here?…. There was no drop down option–unless you can only buy if you are based in Europe?
Many thanks!
