Wrapped!
9 years ago by
Scarves are so versatile. They’re that detail that can really complete a look.
But I battle with them. How to wrap? Where to knot ? Why is this thing flapping in my face?!?
So, I only wear winter scarves.
Even though I want to embrace all scarves, I never really pull them off. Garance and Brie, in contrast, are pretty much professional scarf wearers. The way they tie them this way and that is constantly inspiring. I’m convinced it’s something in Garance’s French blood, and Brie just has a knack for it.
So, they decided to put together some looks to show different ways to style a scarf. I can’t wait to try them as soon as it gets a little warmer,
which is hopefully tomorrow…
How do you style your scarf? Is it one of your favorite accessories?

I’m a scarf girl and couldn’t agree more!!! I wear them all-year round and on my head as well. Scarves rule!

I design scarves, my brand name is “Ciao Tutti”. I couldn’t agree more, a scarf is the finishing touch of an outfit. If you are curious, take a look at http://www.ciao-tutti.be.
Lots of love from Belgium.
Agreed, they seem to be what I collect…I have a stack of scarves. A beautiful pile of textiles, colors, fabrics. they are my absolute favorite accessory a gorgeous transition…
Of course it’s my favorite accessory! I am scarf-addicted and I wear them all the time :)

Please, a tutorial on how to wear a scarf! I need help.

Love love love! Scarves are one of my most favorite things! I do wish I had Garance and Brie’s talents!
But it’s fun trying to figure out how to make a new knot or look!
Love scarves and this post was very interesting !

I love scarves…they can be the perfect pop of color you need for an otherwise monochromatic outfit.
Here’s an awesome tutorial on how to tie scarfs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LYAEz777AU
It’s my go to video when I need a refresher.
Thank you!
Scarves are the PERFECT accessory. Love this post! Next post should be on the scarf necklace ;) http://www.ROARKEnyc.com

Love those pictures! Great scarf ideas!!! I still love the blanket scarf that was sooo popular this winter – I think it’s a great transitional piece if paired with lighter jackets (leather or denim). I just wrap it around my neck or throw it on my shoulders as a cape. In this way I can wear spring jackets in February – like here – http://mywearforecast.com/?date=05.02.2015&style=CASUAL

I love the way a scarf can complete an outfit, but I’m so tired of the usual looks. I will certainly be trying the small and long styles shown here!

You must do a post in Faliero Sarti – they are game changers!

My mother has quite a collection of scarves from over the years. It’s fun to look at the vintage scarves from the 50’s and 60’s. They tell a story. I’m going to look at the video from Donna Rose and practice my scarf tying skills!
Beautiful pictures like always!

I love scarves! They inspirate me to write my blog.

Super post. Scarves are what ties in menswear. It’s a personal statement to emphasize even a formal look.
I got some silk Hermés foulards from my mother and I’m guarding them like gold.
Love all your stylings, maybe we get a few to see dealing with the classical format 100x100cm? A video-tutorial would be great!
I’m also limited to winter season :(
Love the pictures! Really inspiring, makes me want to experiment with wearing scarves! x
I actually feel incomplete without something on my neck.. I usually wear a scarf from my line, a necklace, or my heavy Navajo blanket scarf when I just can’t bare to be exposed to the winter air.
Check out my scarves, called Necknots, that can be worn as a unique scarf, statement necklace or hair accessory. Tutorial Video: http://youtu.be/vkKUfqEvlBs

Love the way you styled each and every one of them! So Dainty and Chic!

I don’t like scarfs totally unsexy uncomfortable and making you look old. Unfortunately, because of the Hype a scharf may cost Mord than the coat.
But you did a great job!
