Walk The Line

It’s rare that one can misstep when it comes to stripes, the most classic and easy to wear form of print – still fun but elegant, in all of their variations! I love them, any which direction they might take…
A good stripe is something effortless to add a little pep, a way I dare to venture beyond the usual block neutrals and colors. (Plus a vertical stripe is maybe the most flattering detail of all time.) You can embrace a more 70s spin like Louise, play up monochrome like Ale, or clash a stripe with another print like Zoe… That’s the magic of stripes — everyone has their own interpretation and there are innumerable ways you can weave them into your wardrobe, in all colors and all widths. You really put your own stripe stamp on them.
I usually love to show off my stripes by pairing them with vintage denim or taking a more enthusiastic approach by clashing them with other prints… How do you wear yours?
On Ale: Top & Pants, Assembly / On Zoe: Dress & Shorts, Tak.Ori; Sunglasses, DITA / On Louise: Shirt, Winser; Skirt, Marks & Spencer.

Stripes always look so fresh and crisp, especially black and white. I adore the pants in the the top photo!
I love seeing stripes paired with patterns. For me, a small enough stripe is almost like a neutral. Large, more graphic stripes I like with solid colors or denim.

Respectfully disagree. You can go wrong with stripe-pants !
I really love that dress with the stripes and lips

Great stripe inspiration! Love the photos!
I stay away from horizontal stripes on a fitted top or any skirt because I don’t have the bust, waist, or hips for it. I’m always looking for vertical stripes, but they aren’t as common. I do, however, admire other ladies in their stripes and think they look chic.
Stripes are all about highlighting and deflecting. The best strip ensemble is capable of achieving both!
Stripes in summer-my go-to every time when I’m going for a laid-back-chic look! Gorgeous representations of the trend!

Great curation of stripes that are not a cliche. Thanks for the inspirations.

Adore a nautical stripe; navy and white, white with khaki or olive. Not a fan of the stripey style maxi dress or skirt.
Like so much the shirt ;)
