The Boots

Here is the boot of fashion week.
These Vuitton boots were everywhere. I even tried them on for a moment (okay, I actually wanted to try them, but as the salesperson told me, “We just went through a fashion week and, in two days, they emptied our stock!!!”)(don’t you love how it makes “them” look like a flock of fashion hungry birds?) because I have a hard time resisting the appeal of light blue denim.
But don’t worry, that very simple boot shape was everywhere on the runways too (did you see the Dior ones?), so it’s not going anywhere. If we don’t find the boot, the boot will find us ;)

I love that boot shape. It looks great and allows you to keep a graceful gait as you walk. Platforms are not so graceful. Well, I haven’t figured out how to look graceful on 2 inch plats.

I want I want I want!!!! J’ai une légère (hum) obsession avec les bottines. Et ce style me plait beaucoup, je n’aurais jamais imaginé, mais ça peut vraiment habiller une tenue toute simple. J’essaye d’être un peu plus original avec mon look et je pense que je pourrais porter ce genre de bottines surtout les Vuitton. J’aime le côté plus naturel du jeans car le vernis, ça peut faire vite gogo danseuse (je suis pas une 60s fan je crois ^^’).
Garance, je pense que tu devrais t’en trouver une paire surtout avec tes slims blancs ou ceux dont tu coupes le bas au ciseaux! Je trouvais ça trop cute d’ailleurs. Tu le fais toujours? :) J’aimerais bien un update niveau jean si jamais tu as envie ou le temps. Ça serait cool de voir ta collection de slim/jeans. **
Those boots are cute, although something tells me that even though they are denim, pairing them with outfits might be a challenge, unless you’re just trying to dress other items down.

Oh…the Vuitton ones remind me of the 90’s in a “please let me forget about it” kind of way. Like the photo of Britney and Justin Timberlake in matching all-denim outfits. Not my type of thing.
Hahaha…Martha! I was thinking exactly the same thing. Shape is super lovely, wear with anything really, but no way do I want to have a Britney/Justin moment. And I’m sorry but that IS Britney/Justin. Maybe we’ll just have to get the mint leather ones!
