I’m a longtime lover of Mansur Gavriel.
I remember reading about them here on the blog years ago, and their minimalist designs have spoken to me ever since. I love their unwavering approach to beautiful simplicity, and how, even though their designs are really pared back, they somehow stand out in a crowd. Ok, maybe I’m going a little too far… wait, no I’m not…!!
So, we were so excited to hear that the Mansur Gavriel team moved their showroom into our building (so many cool, creative companies are moving in here)! We went for a visit the other day and it was just a sea of bags, in every color and shape. But it was still their classic bucket bag that still spoke to me clearest of all. I just ordered it in the black with gold lining…

Effectivement ils sont super beaux, je les avais découvert aussi quand Garance en avait parlé.
Sinon il y a aussi le nouveau cartable de la marque De Rigueur que je viens de découvrir et qui, en plus d’être Made In France, est sooooo cute.

Alors d’habitude j’ai horreur des sacs seaux, mais là j’avoue je suis conquise. Les couleurs sont vraiment superbes, très réussies. La qualité a l’air très bien.

I am obsessed with their bags. Obsessed is probably an understatement actually. Such gorgeous pieces and the bucket bag is my fav. The white with blue interior in particular.

Mansur Gavriel bags haunt my dreams. That caramel-coloured one with the blue lining! I swoon. The only thing holding me back (aside from the fact that it’s sold out everywhere) is that I worry about the opening being an invitation for pickpockets. Having seen it in person, do you think this is an issue? Is the opening accessible when drawn shut?

Je cherche désespérément à acquérir un Bucket Bag mais je ne sais pas où l’acheter ? Je n’ai pas trouvé de magasin en France (sauf Colette mais ils ne distribuent pas de Bucket Bag) ni de site européen. Ça m’embête d’acheter sur des sites américains en raison des soucis de de douanes. Pourrais tu m’indiquer comment tu as acquis le Saint Graal ? Merci pour ta réponse et surtout merci pour ton blog.
