Here are a few of my favorite looks from Gucci.
Each season, the designer Frida Giannini ends her show with a series of amazing evening dresses, one right after another. And the thing that’s really striking about these dresses is the craftmanship and the richness of the materials, shouting LUXURY!! to anybody who will listen.
And there is a whole universe of luxury that shouts.

Le luxe qui hurle on est parfois plus ou moins contre pour des raisons vaguement éthiques, mais inévitablement on aime… et puis c’est le sine-qua-non des marques italiennes, non?

I would wear these dresses in a heartbeat if I had the chance! They really do scream Luxury!, but they also seem like they would be comfortable to wear!

Great photos, but sad to see none of their leather goods represented here. Maybe it’s just me, though, because having been in the leather business, that’s naturally what I think of first when I see or hear the Gucci name.

I really loved the flapper ‘Gatsby Era’ dress. It was one of the highlights of Milan. I did have other favourites too, D & G food inspired attire for example. But the flapper dress is firmly embedded in my memory.
I love that dress, it looks like a bombon wrapping!
