I’ve always loved Chloé. It’s probably one of my favorite brands.
It’s a little like an great friend I guess… Whenever we fall slightly out of touch, I patiently wait for her to come back. Whenever she’s good, I feel like I’d never need anything but her. And whatever happens, Chloé always has a special place in my heart.
Maybe it’s because some of my favorite designers have worked there. Stella, Phoebe, Hannah…
And now today Clare, whose work I’ve been following very closely.
And it’s also maybe because some of the Chloé campaigns influenced me so much.
I’ll always love that as time passes there is, and has always been about that free and unfettered modern woman. I mean, just like us, right? ;)
I wanted to show you a few images of the book that just came out. It’s so nice to flip through, like a beautiful magazine full of memories, iconic images, and others that are downright surprising, like this shot of Karl (who was a designer for the brand for many many years), that I’m sure you’ll appreciate…

I love love Chloé too! The Susanna boots of course, but the whole romantic yet working powerful woman they feature in their campaign! That image is clearly what I like about Chloé’s clothes!

I’ve always loved Chloe ads – for about 10 years or so, I’ve been cutting and pasting them from magazines all over, well, everywhere (on binders, on my wall, in a collection of favorite ads, featuring them in projects)…It’s kind of a love affair with the brand at this point, certainly due to the designers you’ve mentioned. Thanks for posting about this book – I’ll need to take a peek!
