When I spotted these loafers on Lolita in Paris they immediately struck me as the perfect fall flats. I love the classic shape of the shoe and the light color of the leather.
They’re from a collaboration between J.M. Weston x Maison Kitsuné! The only problem is that I can’t find them anywhere online, has anyone seen them?

My mother always says that everything that is out of fashion eventually comes back in fashion, but it doesn’t happen often that something she is wearing is in and out of fashion at the same time :). Ok, she wears those shoes in dark blue/green/brown/black instead of sand. But still.
Love this type of loafers, they look so classy and preppy, the colour is perfect for Autumn and it goes well with lots of colours! Plus, they’re usually really comfortable :)

lovely colour and great design, but only up to size 37-38. from 37 on the proportion of the shoe is distorted (meaning: looks awfully loooong!)
another bad point about this kind of loafers: they are not compatible with narrow feet. hard shoe-sole will cause your heel slip out of the shoe. side effects: unelegant walk abd painful blisters.
i bought a few pair of this kind during past years…and had to give away all of them.

Yes, that was my first thought as well. My grandmother had those, they have been made since the 1930s. Such a shame so many brands are copying their design. But it’s fun that the company Aurlandsskoen can make the shoes in the colours you want, and the detail with a little coin for good luck hidden in the front pocket is soo cute!

I love them Garance, but no hint were to find them…. have you tried all the Italian/English brands? They are the best at this type, but a bit late for this colour though… Good luck anyway….

I like these shoes – but for fall? Depends on where you live obviously, but such a light color and wearing them barefoot? Not compatible with the current temperatures and the wetness of my parts of the world!

Desolee, mais les loafers are one of those bourgeois (conventional, boring) things that cannot be associated with cool. It is the main reason why Steve Mcqueen wins over Paul Newman who wore loafers…hahah. And there is nothing worse than bourgeois…
