I am in Palm Springs! The sun’s too hot, I’ve put on so much sunscreen that I had an allergic reaction and the Coachella Festival just ended on a crazy Kanye West perfomance. Tomorrow I am meeting with Scott in LA and we are off to one week of what we like to call a road trip. So exciteeeed!

I wish you and Scott a lovely trip .-) My boyfriend and I are flying to LA (from our native Norway) in a few weeks for a two-week road trip up the coast to San Francisco, then to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and back to LA. Ah c’est bien ce que je me disais, au lieu d’aller à Coachella, je suis allée à Big Sur, j’ai pris le CA highway 1 et je suis montée me cailler et me régaler vers le nord. Pourtant ça a l’air cool tes pool party. Palm Spring, c’est intense en effet niveau chaleur…
ben dis donc, le carré Hermès en paréo, pourvu que la crème solaire ne le démolisse pas!!! :)

CA is beautiful country! I live in Cardiff, just north of San Diego, and the beach + surf culture here are the best! As far as fashion…it’s super casual. San Francisco is obviously amazing but getting up to hike some trails on Mt. Tamalpais in the redwood trees is also fantastic…check out Mill Valley (I’m from there…love it and miss it!). Then, there’s Sonoma and Napa wine country, as well central coast…my favorite. People forget about that. Hope you & Scott enjoy! Please post lots of Coachella pics! ?

I am seeing the Strokes at Reading Festival and can’t wait! Their new album has such an amazing 80’s summer vibe–absolutely adore it!
If you are traveling along Route 79 in Arizona, don’t miss the Pauline Cushman House in Florence. (It will soon be a very cool art gallery.) Florence is an undiscovered gem of a town where you can get a cocktail at Kokopelli Moon, buy some fencing or a bandana at the unbelievably well -appointed Ace Hardware and tour the historic adobe houses, many dating back to the mid-18th century. The Cushman House still has it’s original flat roof, thought you have to go into the attic to see it. The Florence prison art gallery is also very unique.
