Last time I was in Paris, I ended up – somewhat by accident – in the photography studio of the adorable and talented Fred Meylan.
The studio is set up in a very old Parisian apartment, and everything has been renovated with respect for the history of the space. It’s got a masculine feel, but it’s cozy at the same time – totally unlike our bright, white studio, but I absolutely loved it.

Beautiful photos! I love this studio/apartment. Yes it does look cosy and so full of atmosphere and character and it does make a change from an immaculate modern white studio space although I like both styles equally. Love the photo of the window with balcony & table/chairs.

J’aime le mélange entre les chaises des années cinquante et les boiseries et les lampes Françaises du dis huitième siècle! Mais le blanc est beaucoup plus pratique!!

C’est vrai que c’est un style différent de l’épuré blanc que l’on aime beaucoup en ce moment, mais c’est absolument sublime, avec le côté unique de l’usure qui se fait à sa façon avec le temps. Moi aussi j’adore franchement ;)

J’aime beaucoup mais en photo! L’aspect delabre end bien. Et la deco est vraiment chouette. Mais je ne pense pas pouvoir travailler dans un endroit abime comme celui la. Je suis legerement maniaque sur les bords et je n’aime pas les bestioles. Ce serait ma premiere pensee dans cet appart.

Oh c’est drôle, moi aussi j’ai débuté avec lui (à Interpress) ; il a fait un sacré chemin et il a bon goût : joli studio, surprenant ; ça change des ambiances épurées.
Ce studio est tout simplement sublime! J’aime le côté presque délabré mais avec soin (aussi étrange que cela puisse paraître!) et l’authenticité qui se dégagé du lieu, je suis fan!

Très bel endroit, cela me rappelle des appartements de Berlin ( dont un où j’ai habité) où tout est laissé presque à l’état brut.
On sent l’histoire des murs et cela donne un caractère vraiment spécial.

Hi! Excusez-moi… but this doesn’t look like being renovated at all? Or is it just the selection of your images? I do like the feeling of “run-down” walls and the colors as well as the play of shadows and light…would be also a great film setting…. but I would def prefer to WORK in a space with a brighter feeling….;-)
