Happy Thanksgiving !

Today it’s Thanksgiving in the USA!!!
In other words the national day of the turkey, of hanging out with your family and saying thank you to those you love.
A quiet celebration, with no presents, not commercial (well that’s if you don’t count the millions of turkeys) so I won’t bother you for long, but I wanted to tell you thank you, thank you, thank you for being here with us everyday– you that we know for real, you that we know through the comments or you that we’ve never met. I always have had the feeling that I’m part of a fantastic community – and that I know you (okay so that can feel weird if we meet and you tell me you’re a reader of the blog, I may starting talking to you like you’re an old friend, because it’s a little bit like that, even if I would LOVE to know more about you…anyway).
Thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU from Emily, Alex, Tamar and Erik (yes we have a guy with us !!!). We give you a big French kiss! Okay, not French. On the cheek. Ooooh all right. A hug. Right there :)

Merci pour les remerciements mais c’est à toi Garance & Co que je dis merci pour un super blog que j’adore, où j’apprend pleine de choses. Grace à toi et ton partage je me sens très au courant de l’air du temps. Je dois faire partie des “vielles” parmi tes lectrices/lecteurs mais malgré mes 61 ans les sujets que tu abordes m’intéressent énormément. Le monde change et évolue à grand vitesse et avec ton aide, parmi d’autres, moi aussi j’évolue.

Et bien moi, je suis encore plus vieille: 65 ans! Et je te lis tous les jours. Tout le monde doit se demander quelle mouche m’a piquée d’acheter pour l’hiver un sac blanc? Et bien c’est une mouche nommée Garance! Et c’est très beau sur mon manteau noir. Pour faire le lien j’ai rajouté dessus un petit porte-clé noir et argenté… et ça me parait parfait!

Avec toi je ne vois pas les années passer ! Peut-être six ou sept ! J’adore, je déteste, je m’insurge, j’applaudis, je découvre, je m’indiffére, et ça repart de plus belle … la vie quoi ! L’essentiel est que vous adoriez ce que vous faites … le reste ce sont des lucioles dans le temps ! Chacun sa route à sa façon …
Ce serait super sympa que vous vous preniez en photo un jour, genre une photo familiale avec tous les gens du studio:)

I was in New Zealand last year for Thanksgiving, and a friend organised a huge dinner where everybody was invited. It was the beginning of summer, there were rabbits in her garden. this year in Berlin nobody is thinking about Thanksgiving, and it is the beginning of winter. It is great to remember, though!
