Ça doit être l’une des premières fois que je vois une coupe courte ET bouclée marcher aussi bien. Pour moi, à la base, c’est synonyme de désastre capillaire.
Je ne dis pas que ça m’irait à moi, mais franchement, c’est tellement adorable et différent sur Alyosha que ça me fait réfléchir aux choses que je pourrais accomplir avec ma (courte) longueur.
Ok, ok – qu’est-ce qui ne serait pas adorable et différent sur Alyosha, je vous le demande.
Mes cheveux ont un peu poussé, et c’est assez cool je trouve, il faut que je vous montre, donc je suis en train d’étudier mes possibilités pour la rentrée.
Vous les portez comment vos cheveux, cette saison ?

Garance, I would love to see some pics of your hair right now and hear what you’re thinking of for fall. I’ve had short hair for a while, but now it’s quite short and I’m not such a fan. I also caved in and had another keratin treatment because with me, curl equals frizz and I can’t find any product to tame it. Your friend here is beautiful and lucky to have such lovely curls.

Après un accident, j’ai décide de presque raser les cheveux d’un coté, j’ai cru que ça me donnerait un air rebelle, en fait je ressemblais á michael johnson dans les années thiller moins 4 boucles de coté!
Quand les cheveux ont grandit j’ai coupé court d’un coté, long de l’autre (mais pas trop) et….. eurêka!

Je porte mes cheveux blonds courts, très courts car passé 2 mois de coupe ils sont bouclés et en volume… Catastrophe !
Il faudrait que je montre ce combo-là à mon coiffeur… Ça pourrait lui donner des idées ! Mais pourquoi est-ce toujours aux clientes de dire ce qu’elles ont envie de faire de leur cheveux ? Est-ce qu’il existe quelque part des supers coiffeurs qui te fassent une tête toute belle, comme tu n’aurai jamais osé l’imaginer ??? (Je m’égare, mais c’est vraiment compliqué de trouver quelqu’un qui comprenne mes cheveux et mon style !)

She definitely has a great hair stylist… every great hair has a great cut and a good hairstylist behind it. I discovered that any problem can be 60% fixed if you cut your hair the right way. Show you hair to us Garance! I’ll love to see it. I cut my hair in a bob 3 months ago, and it is growing out a little, almost to a long bob, but not yet. I love the transformation, but my natural curly hair is beginning to show (I did a « marroquina », a brazilian invention to relax and hydrate your hair without straightening super hard) because my hair was a disaster, and not even a haircut could solve it. And I wanted a change of looks for so long, so I tried going to the straight club, and then I cut it super short. I loved it, but as I said, my curly hair is starting to grow and some waves next to the scalp are making my hair look a little weird, and I have to iron it most of the times. I wanted to keep this short look, but I miss my curly hair, so I’ll probably let it grow out again… so that’s my plan!
It truly looks great on her, so feminine! But a little side note, your hair is quite curly too and it looks amazing on you too ;) xx

That’s so true!!!! Usually curly short hair is a kind of mess! It will requires master techniques to cut this hairstyle.
For me, I always think that natural curly hair for winter is the best option. And it’s the best for 4 seasons. Just need to find the best hair cut which suits yourself, rather than finding the most trendiest one.

La période post-summer chez moi c’est toujours une période de questionnement capillaire existentiel. Faut-il vraiment les couper pour rattraper les dégâts du fatal cocktail: Chlore&Sel&soleil ??? Contre argument : Pourtant ils avaient bien poussé ! On revient vers le plus foncé ou on prolonge l’été en conservant son crinière dorée ? Aaaargh ! Bref, dilemme cornélien. Mais je crois bien que je vais tenter le BROND … A suivre ;-)

I just got the best haircut of my life, I love it! It is however a big change for me. I varied between two different long bobs and now I have bangs, long fringe style bangs and some textured layers in my shoulder length hair. It moves. It’s easy in this effortless unfussy sort of style that I wanted. The bangs are so fun and so different. Some of my friends didn’t even recognize me at first.
I’m having so much fun with it.
Tomorrow I go for colour, maybe stay in the chocolate family or add some Carmel highlights, we’ll see.

J’adore cette photo, les coulures sont a tombées et me donne envie de porter un rouge a lèvres rouge très rouge – j’essaie demain – meme si je suis blonde et que j’au toujours la trouille (???) de porter du rouge!!
Mes cheveux sont frises carre court, d’ailleurs j’ai RDV ce weekend pour rafraichir le tout… Cette coupe me séduit aussi beaucoup mais je pense que mes cheveux sont trop frises :(

I cut my hair short earlier this summer then got a great cut from David Mallett in July. I like long short hair, if that makes sense. Something with a little sexy movement. Haven’t had short hair in years but I’m enjoying the change. Fun to play with jewelry, head wraps, etc. I’m going to definitely add this photo to my Pinterest board!

LOVE IT !!! was watching « sex and the city » and really loved Carrie’s short hair style when she first had her book published. both require great hair stylists to achieve that perfectly imperfect result.

She’s so beautiful! At that angle, she resembles Jasmin Sewell- another curly and short haired lady. I like that she just keys her hair do its own thing.
It’s still cool here for us in the Southern Hemisphere, with a slow start to Spring, so I’ve been wearing my hair down and out recently- never worn it out in public before since it grew long (it’s sort of irregular mid-back length and dead straight black with some greys coming through at the front like Morticia… always in a top knot – takes about fifteen seconds to do so it’s easy that way).
And I’ll be letting it fall into its slightly off centre natural and tying it in a low bun, or taking a couple of extra minutes to braiding just the front section on either side of my part then gathering it all into a low, easy bun at the nape.
Come summer in a couple of months I will do the same three things. And maybe get another ear piercing – summer makes me want to do that, for some bizarre reason.
I love this hairstyle so much and wish I didn’t have super curly hair so that I could wear it – so beautiful and feminine.

My hair is maybe an inch longer now but very similar curls. I wet it a bit in the shower, let it dry whilst I get ready and then add some Argan oil. Easiest style I have ever had!

J’ai souvent été coiffée comme cela (j’appelle ça la « garçonne bouclée ») et pourtant, je voulais désespérément garder mes cheveux longs.
Alors je laissais pousser, mais la malédiction-du-cheveux-bouclé-naturelement m’empêchait de ressembler à quoi que ce soit : ben oui, je n’ai pas de coiffeur à dispo pour me faire un joli wavy tous les matins.
J’ai de nouveau adopté cette coupe il y a un an et je ne regrette pas.
C’est joli, féminin, sexy (ah ! la nuque courte qui appelle les baisers…) et cela dénote un certain tempérament dans ce monde de « lisses »…

Anyway, this hair reminds me of Audrey Tautou, she looked lovely (well, she always looks lovely!) when she had short hair, and her haircut was similar to this.
Even if I have long hair I really like short haircuts, when I was a teenager I cut my hair very very short but now I’m not brave enough!!
Pour moi, l’enjeu est de prolonger l’été en maintenant le plus possible le blond unique obtenu grâce au combo mer-soleil… Et comme ils ont été gorgé d’huiles, de masques, ils sont tout beaux! Ma couple est courte, ondulée… Je n’aime plus du tout les coupes trop sophistiquées. A l’âge de raison, je préfère opter pour le naturel…maîtrisé. N’est-ce pas ça le charme français: effortless?

Ha Ha ! J’ai les cheveux courts depuis juillet – ce qui est une première pour moi (!!) – et voilà…. je me suis aperçue qu’ils bouclaient. Ils n’étaient pas tout à fait raides lorsqu’ils étaient un peu plus longs, mais alors là ils sont indéniablement bouclés – et courts, donc – Ben en fait, c’est pas mal. Hormis le fait que je n’ai plus aucun contrôle sur eux. Mais j’ai trouvé une bonne « crème disciplinante » chez l’Occitane (ouf !)

Garance, j’ai les cheveux courts depuis environ 1 mois et je les coiffe comme Alyosha (à l’aide d’un spray eau de mer et d’un séchage au diffuseur ou à l’air libre), sans jamais tomber dans le style caniche/brushing Dallas. Ce serait d’ailleurs dommage à 23 ans ;) Tout réside (encore une fois) dans l’attitude, le look, le make-up.

Je pense avoir les cheveux encore plus frisés que toi et récemment, j’ai fait couper quasiment toutes les longueurs abimées par un dernier défrisage pour retrouver ma vraie nature,….
je ne m’accepte pas du tout avec ma nouvelle coupe qui est courte dans la nuque et pour le coup, FRISEE, j’ai vraiment l’impression de ressembler à un mouton…..
Alyosha, elle, n’est pas frisée, cela est certain….
D’ailleurs, Garance, tu devrais nous faire quelques posts sur des vraies frisées, type filles aux cheveux arabes / juives, des vrais cheveux frisés et volumineux pour me donner un peu de baume au coeur. On voit toutes les filles avec des cheveux qui semblent parfaits mais je suis sure que bcp cachent leur profonde nature et je me sens seule avec ma touffe :((
j’aimerais par ailleurs savoir où tu en es toi avec tes cheveux.
