This guy is a paper engineer. More like a paper magician. Watch what he can do with this most basic of materials!
Spend the next week in the glow of the beautiful, enchanting Nastassja Kinski.
Today when many people think of books they think of Amazon. And for good reason: discounts, free shipping, and a deeper selection than any physical store. What you can’t do on Amazon of course is touch or flip through a book. If that’s what you want, the Strand in NYC is as good as they come for doing so.
And for some beautiful old books which you won’t find at Amazon or Strand look here. If you know someone into mid-20th century architecture and interior and graphic design this would be a fine place to find a unique holiday gift for them.
And while on the subject of design from last century it’s not too late to bid on and win something racy and rare for your walls.
And speaking of walls, starting December 1 this should be a good source for you to beautify yours.
If this were hanging from a tree outside our window and had birds enjoying it…we’d get no work done. And what a lovely website!
Just like we prefer our bacon, this visual chart of the last 100 years of food trends is well done.
What? Really? We LOVED Tumblr a few years ago but don’t know anyone today who goes there first when they want to share something. Guess numbers don’t lie though.
So much else is ever new in our lives, so shouldn’t your daily diary experience be as well?
Some people look into crystal balls to see the future. Reading this new forecasting magazine from Monocle will do it for us.
A weekly round up of the best links from Delphine & Wes Del Val.
