I really LOVED this podcast and I am so looking forward to Part 2 of it! I love these kind of topics and really enjoy listening to your guys’ experiences and ideas. More of that! Lots of love from Germany
It seems as if the foodie and home improvement/decorating cultures have raised the entertaining stakes to impossible levels. Entertaining should be fun. The level of complexity has to go way down as the number of guests go up. We had planned a Cinco de Mayo bash for 25-30 people earlier this year and at the last minute a friend called to say he was bringing friends–10-15. I almost had a heart attack. I hurried to make desserts (we had plenty of other food, in all honesty). They showed up with chairs, trays of appetizers, AND a jazz quartet. All was forgiven. It was a great party….obviously not in an apartment but in our yard.
