For months now I’ve followed Michel on Instagram. Be it for his on-point celebrity references, or just general kookiness — he’s got me intrigued with a humorous feed of visual interest! So this morning all of those eccentricities showed up, only to culminate in something that really made sense: the Chanel Haute Couture show. It was a set design married with his imaginative sound illustrating that blew me away (although the clothes looked nice too, should I ever need such an intricate dress…).
While I know he didn’t create the massive set of a modern doll house surrounded by trees that looked like it was outside, he built the moment that inspired it with a little help from his unique visual diary on Instagram. #itscouturebaby and things are just getting started!
Do you have someone that inspires you to take a different approach?
