Girls’ rights are human rights, and Marimekko knows it too! This month Marimekko is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their Tasaraita Collection by donating $1 of each Tasaraita shirt sold to Plan International.
Marimekko’s Tasaraita collection is a line of striped women’s ready-to-wear, created by their designer Annika Rimala as a new symbol for the era of unisex, and equality for women and anonymity in design. By partnering with Plan International, an organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls, the two have joined forces to further encourage this movement of equality.
Also, who doesn’t love a striped shirt?
