Living with Roommates
7 years ago by
Today on Pocket PMF we’re covering a topic most people can relate to; living with roommates. Garance chats with Emily, Alison and Brittany about the good, the bad and the ugly of shacking up with strangers vs. friends. We find out Garance can throw quite a party, as long as she doesn’t burn the place down first, what drove Emily to move in with her boyfriend, pet peeves, rules and more. Garance’s fiance, Chris, joins them to talk about how he found success with one roommate who he lived with for longer than some marriages last!

i’m about to move from my own studio to an apartment with a friend this summer… it’s good to hear that moving in with a friend is the way to go! :)
I have yet to listen to this episode but the subject made me think of my last article entitled “Conscious cohabitation” or how to live an organized life with your partner/roommate, etc: http://consciousbychloe.com/2017/03/14/conscious-cohabitation/
Though I’m sad we’ve both experienced this, I was *so* happy to hear that I’m not alone in living with someone who refuses to acknowledge that I’m in the room most of the time! It’s so strange to me not to say hello when I enter a common space and see people sitting there. (This roommate is also notorious for leaving lone forks / spoons / cups in the sink if they aren’t “hers” – what a gem, huh?)
Thanks for another great podcast!
I absolutely love these Pocket PMF podcasts! I take long walks in the city to listen to them and they put me in such a good mood. Please keep doing them forever.
