All of us here at the studio are a little obsessed with dance – and I think Benjamin Millepied is a genius, one of the best choreographers of our time.
All of his dances have this quiet, resonant beauty that pulls at the heartstrings and completely transports you to another place. His work is what dance should be: art in movement.
His new project, Hearts & Arrows, is set against the backdrop of the Los Angeles River. The video might will definitely make you fall in love with Millepied a little more…

Moi aussi j’aime bien Millepied, mais il y a aussi toute la scène londonienne qui est très intéressante; Wayne Mc Greggor, Hofesh Sheshter, Akram Khan etc

That’s so beautiful…I love dance. I am currently watching and re-watching (and re-watching over and over again) Sergiei Polunin “Take me to church” directed by LaChapelle. First time I saw it I cried, it’s so beautiful. Of course it helps that Sergiei is the hottest guy ever (the body! the cheekbones!) and that he is a ballet genius. Seriously, I have no words, it’s simply a must see!

La danse, OUI, j’aime d’amour, mais Millepied? Plutôt très décu que c’est lui qui prend le Ballett de l’Opéra de Paris après la fantastique Brigitte Lefèvre.. à suivre, en tout cas. La prochaine fois à Paris, ballet à l’Opéra!

Ha the setting reminds me of the car chase scene in Grease (my fav guilty pleasure movie).
