Form Vintage x The Wythe Hotel

Form is as good as vintage gets.
With antique home goods, fashion, textiles, and jewelry from around the world, to pieces from key players like Chanel, YSL, and Chloe, the brand has a huge selection of rare and diverse items. Such a gem! After laying eyes on a 1980s hand made sequined Oscar de la Renta jacket while browsing through their Instagram (also an admirable source of inspiration), I knew they were worth keeping on my radar. And what was originally online and by appointment only is now being realized into a brick-and-mortar space in collaboration with The Shop at The Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn.
The Wythe is a beauty. I’m talking original pine beams, theatric arched windows and perfectly dated brick walls. It has enough industrial character to make you want to move to Brooklyn, buy a mason jar, and really embrace the hipster lifestyle. Ok, maybe a stretch but seriously, I can’t imagine a more fitting space. The grandeur aesthetic of The Wythe is an ideal mate for Form’s historical richness and modern approach to vintage. It’s more than a collection of items for purchase, rather a curation of items collected by the owners intended to inspire and excite and… make you want to travel the world to collect your own tchotchkes. A collaboration that sounds like a perfect reason to venture out of my Manhattan bubble for a day! Plus they have a rooftop bar, and I am never opposed to a cocktail or two, especially while contemplating how I can travel the world and collect antiques in my spare time.
