I love it when a dress feels as comfortable to wear as a pair of sweatpants.
It gives freedom to the movements – it’s super graceful and perfect for a summer day in the city.
It works even better if it’s all quiet in the front, and all drama in the back !
PS Michele is wearing an Alexander Wang dress, Saint Laurent sneakers, a Valextra clutch, Dior sunglasses and her bracelet is by Maiyet.
Lovely dress!!

Love the Frange! What a nice dress!

This is really drama in the back! Stunning!!

I love this look! Kiss!

I love these sunglasses! The dress looks…different :-)

Wow, that is a REALLY unexpected detail!!! Like a show pony!

Mamzette : Lol !!!
This dress is gorgeous and perfect for summer! The Valextra clutch is beautiful!

I share the philosophy that a dress should be as comfortable as sweatpants)))

I feel a strong urgency to own those sunnies!
Seriously, who can’t look great for $4000?
Anastasia, so many people can’t look great for a million!
I feel this dress is interesting. I wouldn’t buy it, but it doesn’t prevent me from loving looking at it on Michele :)
I have soo many examples of rich people with terrible style…you can buy fashion but not style
Bise !!

Love that pop of red and “unexpected” touch of sneakers!
Impeccable!

I completely agree. When we find that special dress we wear so much that if we leave it somewhere else it will find its way back home. And that dress it would be one of those cases =)
Amazing detail on the back.

Very nice outfit and she looks great.

Ok, fine, but a $1200 dress will never be “comfortable” for me ( as I wipe off burped-up breast milk from the shoulder of my Gap t-shirt for the third time today). Maybe I should just stick to the mommy blogs?
Remember the nineties when it was cool to spend as little as possible on your style or was that just a Midwestern thing?
Oh, sigh, so you never look through Vogue and dream? And by the nineties I presume you are referring to grunge which was not style, but anti-style, and still popular around my neighbourhood, unfortunately.
I cannot afford expensive dresses but I like to look at them. And while my mother was still sewing I could get her to knock off some lookalikes.
And, by the way, Garance, I bought a pencil skirt by Ewanika (Toronto) made from good quality sweatshirt fabric, with a silk shirred waist. It’s a once dressy and oh-so-comfortable in the heat. It cost roughly $200.

How much do I love that? Let me count the ways!
I don’t know if I’m daring enough to wear this dress but it’s SO COOL!!!

love the red clutch

I am in love with the stunning tiny red handbag.
Oh gosh! Such an expensive dress! But yes, some dresses are doing the trick – and this is one of them! Still surprised about myself, who’s a true tomboy, who’s loving dresses more and more…

I love the dress & the way you styled it on Michele, but i do agree that having a serious budget not only helps but can build someone’s personal style. You see, i can’t find a dress barely close to this one spending less than 1000 euros, and if I ever do it would be two years later. Of course someone can take it to the sky styling it perfectly ( like you did – I love the comfort, easy-going aura of the look) but when a dress or a coat or a blazer speak alone for themselves …well it makes it a loooot easier

Michele carries that so well!
Would it be a no-no if I go to my local haberdashery and purchase a length of fringing to sew down the spine of a dress I have that looks like the one above?
Intense back. For a moment, I thought it was her braid!

This dress/look speaks to me like no other. Feel like I’m watching my truest self… Thank you Wang and fashion girl.
