Claire Thomson-Jonville x Pallas
6 years ago by
When asked what single outfit she would wear for the rest of her life, Claire Thomson-Jonville succinctly replied, “sneakers and a tuxedo.” It’s no surprise then that she collaborated with Pallas (who have been crafting tuxedo centered collections since 1960 in Paris) to design a line of tuxedo separates and jumpsuits.
She modeled her collaboration for us, and showed us the perfect way to style it, with sneakers and a cute daughter if applicable.
As the former editor-in-chief of Self Service Magazine, Claire has an eye for fashion and “what’s next.” So what’s next for Claire? She recently launched her own creative consulting agency, CTJ Creative, specializing in branding and digital strategy and will launch a television show on Canal Plus in November with Mademoiselle Agnes. In the meantime we’ll be pulling inspiration from these images, her daughters red shoes included.
How would you describe your style in three words?
Tomboy, tailoring, easy chic
When designing your collaboration with Pallas, was there someone in particular you were inspired by?
Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, Corinne Day, Melanie Ward, Freja Beha, Daria Werbowy, 90s Gwyneth, 90s Kate Moss… real women and iconic fashion imagery.
Who excites you in fashion right now?
I’m always excited when a new season starts, to see the new faces, the new collections, and rediscover my favorites and what they’re working on. It’s like “back to school” after the long summer break.
Love her :)
Where are her bracelets from?
Anybody knows?
