At the dawn of September, I’m (slowly) starting to shift into the gears of the new season. Looking for structure in both my habits and my wardrobe, I find myself gravitating towards solid pieces like the blazer. Yes, I know the blazer for fall isn’t Newton discovering gravity, but when it comes to essentials, the blazer certainly gets a seat at the table.
Plus, when you add an attention to detail – peaked lapels, unexpected color ways, pinstripes like our friend Talia here wears, your blazer becomes as dynamic and versatile as it is reliable. Optional but encouraged: the easy glow of the evening light.

I recognised also that at the moment I tend to blazers :)

J’aime le look “blazer”, difficile a porter en Floride !
Darlings the blazer seems to come and go each fall season ! What’s new is the amount of trends revolving around the blazer , checks and plaids , red , deconstructed, broad shoulders , and chocolate brown . Just to name a few , the oversized blazer leads the pack . Love the attention this classic is getting . Thanks darlings!

Dress The Part
The winter coming soon, in Vietnam, the transition between the seasons is very clear.
This is the time to refresh the wardrobe, the blazer is very necessary now.

I like the leather blazer, it’s cool but it’s a mix of new towels that keep warm

And if you are from the east coast and went to any prep school, you know one must always have a blazer at the ready at all times.
I stick with a classic JCrew school boy style, one can wear for all occasions and always look the part. (Think Amanda Brooks).
