What are you wearing and how does it reflect your personal style?
Im wearing a Faith Connection jacket, Vintage YSL skirt, Vintage Gucci shoes, Vintage T-shirt and purse.
I don’t buy many new clothes. Its mostly vintage in my closet. Maybe once a year I’ll buy one new really nice item that usually stays in my wardrobe until I’ve worn it to tatters. I go in and out of phases of playing with fashion and not playing. Right now I’m really into the business look. I love the look of freshly pressed clothes that can be mixed with more casual pieces.
What are your must-have wardrobe items?
Slacks, aviator glasses, white Superga sneakers.
Define style versus fashion.
I guess style is an individualized interpretation of fashion. Fashion shows you the options, and style is how you put it together.
How does living between NYC and Upstate, NY, impact your style?
Living between the two makes me dress in extremes. When I’m upstate I need to be practical because I do a lot of physical work outdoors and usually everything gets dirty. Because of this, in NYC I really enjoy dressing up, even if I’m walking the dogs or doing studio work inside.
