Figuring out what to wear to the office is becoming harder to, well, figure out! The increasingly unconventional environments making for less and less clear specifications on what might be appropriate at the workplace. It seemed only fitting to take cues from the abundance of peasant blouses on the spring runways, and incorporate them into a new sort of workwear for the fourth part of our Edit No.4. And who better than two women who work together, Tine & Luisa.
The relaxed proposition of the peasant blouse allows for the new work uniform to be a bit more playful. No longer under the constraints of a stuffy skirt suit – a mismatched pant & blazer, in tones reminiscent of those favored by some businessmen strikes just the right chord, especially with a lace-up blouse!
And no need to be overly ambitious either, a simple all white ensemble with just a hint of girlish charm in the form a pastel patterned blouse keeps the workwear look feeling femme but serious. Because no matter what the season, we women mean business when we go to work – no ifs, ands or peasant blouses about it!
Okay ladies, now lets get in formation … well, our work wardrobes anyways ;)
great looks!

they look a little too classical, but i know it’s just an option! :)

Love this – something that speaks to my work environment (i.e., no jeans, but no need for a suit either). Creative professional. And wearable and feminine both. Wonderful!
I’d be happy to wear these looks to work. Especially I like the first photo!

Love this inspiration post!
As for me, I need to wear quite formal at work (a jeans can fit) but no sneakers at all!

Julie, Petite and So What?
It all depends on where one works….the pink pants with the jacket or the white suit, or even the white blouse with black pants would have worked at my previous job. I recently spoke to a group where nothing here would have been formal or serious enough. I visited offices of a creative agency in Paris and all of these would have been perfect (though I thought the women wore heels too high. They could barely walk across the marble lobby floor and it made them seem ridiculous. Heels might look nice and add height, but it’s all out the window if a person can’t walk.)
Classic and nice…depends on your job …you can always add a personal touch that will show your personality..

i think you meant chord, rather than cord? ;)
These are lovely, however I find the longer, fuller sleeves messy to work in, and also to layer anything over if you’re cold. I guess a sleeveless cardigan/wrap? I’m a girl who likes to roll up her sleeves!
very cute looks. I like this version of dressing down but still having some tailored pieces mixed in.
I would like to request a photo shoot of women working in tech (like a tech startup or small software company, where people are really busy). like maybe one designer and one developer. usually the guys are always wearing tshirts, jeans, and hoodies. so I’d like to get ideas of how to sort of fit in with that very casual vibe but upgrade it a little to still have some moderation of style and class. thanks!
Great looks. I love how there’s a bit for everyone. Hooray for awesome office style :)

love that round bag

My workwear is a basic cropped jeans and shirt but i’m upgrading it cause i’m sick of the routine that i made to myself (blogger), thinking that first look after the paragraph, when I saw it I was like, YAAASS!!!!!

Looks like ads from 70s catalogues…
Those are some truly fabulous work fashions … I got to try some of those out for myself!
The second look of mega-textured peasant blouse (so modern), with the pinstripe pants, clean sneakers with a shot of scarlet, and that round bag – is perfect! It’s comfortable, feminine, practical and attracts people to the person – not the clothes.
Thank you for such great inspiration! I have recently started working in an office environnement, and i really struggle with how to keep up with fashion trends and to be office appropriate at the same time, which is harder than I thought it would be. Next time I go shopping, these pictures are coming with me!

Superbes looks!
Those bags! Wow!
“femme but serious”
Why do these have to be contradictory?
The size of the handbag, hum, eye catching ~

After working for half a year I’m starting to stress over what to wear to work… It’s so hard to not include jeans but I guess I should discover more options..

Love these business looks! Very feminine and not boring at all!
Is the large round bag available for purchase? I checked their website as well as some of their stockists but can’t find that bag
On croirait les voir directement sorties de Vinyl !! :D
WOW it’s a mega style for the business. I live it.
