Roll Up!
9 years ago by
We can’t wait for spring…
To finally throw off our parkas (no matter how much they’ve saved us this winter) and give up the snow boots. This morning, we were all talking about how excited we are for transitional dressing. To start mixing winter and spring pieces – and to try out new styling ideas. We love this rolled up pant cuff. It’s such a chic way to frame a shoe.
It also feels perfect for that in between time, when you’re done with boots but it’s still too cold for bare legs. And, as a detail, it makes a casual look feel a little more styled and elegant.
What little quirks do you add to your outfit, especially in the transitional seasons? We’re excited to try them all…

Loving the rolled trousers, super chic! I’m so excited to be able to wear a jacket and not have to stick a huge ass coat on top! Roll on Spring dressing :)

My ankles are almost always exposed in the winter. It’s a little luxury. Perhaps directly correlated to the fact that I only walk a block to and from the subway.
The shoes looks nice !

I can’t wait for spring too! I love that time when I can get away with bare legs and over the knee boots.

It’s a nice way to wear these kind of shoes with trousers. Casual but interesting.

*(Swear to God! Im a Huge admirer of your Work!!!)
I am so OVER winter dressing! I feel like I can never truly style a proper outfit because I am trying not too freeze. Merci Garance for feeling my pain. Cheer for Spring and cute transitional coats and shoes. Love from Canada! xx
I always wear my pants rolled up. I love the effortless nonchalance it lends to an outfit.

very 80sed! I do your elements (light color and skin) in a more casual way: flat salmon suede shoes with white rubber soles and shorter jeans with a mini flare to show ankles.
In the recent years I’ve discovered the power of scarfs. It’s not for old ladies like I thought. :)
Rolling up the sleeves of a jacket or blazer can really transform an outfit (especially as I have long arms and often the sleeves are a bit short for me..)
Belts can be tricky, but sometimes they are really helpful. Over an otherwise baggy outfit for example.
I had a cocktail ring that was amazing with every outfit, but I lost it. :( Really hope I’ll find a new one. So far no luck. The lost one was perfect. And I had gotten it for 2 euros on a vintage market….
I’m too lazy for accessories, but the fuss about them is actually worth it.

This was exactly what I needed today. Such a mood-lifter. I can’t wait for summer as well!!!

OOhhh! amazing trousers, where from please?
