Long Sleeved

It’s a bit refreshing to see some long sleeves when everyone is always rolling them up– of course, you still need use of your hands! I like how Pernille layered this shirt with a turtleneck and a pair of a shorts, it’s a really good way to deal with this fall weather!

Great look great picture..I can’t say this is something you would like to wear outside of an “image “…imagine a situation in the toilette ,the subway..at dinner at friends house ..and just lighting a cigarate you would say it’s not so healthy to smoke ..and I don’t :) but I just imagine ..
after all fashion is also fun…

Of course this slim young girl could wear a gunny sack (my 94 year-old mother says that! LOL) and look fantastic and chic. I’d be interested to see you photograph people who are chic but with real people bodies. I know it isn’t what is around during fashion week – but it is something that I miss from your original blog. The hit/miss of what you originally shot was sooooo fascinating. You truly are able to see the “something” in what women put on. I really enjoyed contemplating those unexpected details with you. So much fun to see women who just “have it” through your eyes. Plzzzzzzz bring it back!
I second this. It would be great to see other types of bodies because Garance has such a good eye for details and different shapes of beauty. Fashion should be freed from the uniformity. :)
I would seriously love this. G, you have done a piece here and there featuring different body shapes and ages (than the lean and tall and young), but these just have me wanting more.

Hmmm, I never understand the layered tops with shorts. I figure one half of you has to be cold or the other half sweating. And those long sleeves? I LONG to roll them up! I prefer a naked forearm!
Actually shorts and a jacket is the most comfortable thing you can wear when it gets a bit cold, and you are out for the day. Legs never get cold on most healthy people, unless it gets to below freezing. But just shorts and a t shirt is not enough on a chilly day. So shorts and a sweater or jacket feels absolutely perfect.

No, no, no, no, no, no. Beautiful girl with an amazing figure. But the sunglasses are ill-fitting, and the shirt silly.
Yep, this is how long sleeve shirts fit me- they always need to be altered!
Also, I HATE the tabbed-sleeves with a button that are so prevalent on every women’s shirt the past few years. I can roll up myself, thanks, and when you want to wear long-sleeved, there is a ridiculous button sitting out there. So ugly! And the tab inside the sleeve tickles my arm. Bleh- awful.I will not buy them.
You are right: One just has to be able to use his hands. Nevertheless, the look is a real eye-catcher.
