We are out of the office today enjoying the end of a long weekend here in NYC! I love these weekends because the city stays busy, but it’s also super quiet at the same time. I felt like I was the only one here this weekend!
I love Miranda’s ultra-summer style in this photo. Have I told you how much I love a straw basket? A total summer essential for me!

What I like about this picture is her hair! I like the length. It brought to mind your post about Caroline from BRVTVS a while back. And then that made me remember an idea I encountered a long time ago: that hair falling between the chin and shoulder is considered an “old lady” length. What do you make of this, has anyone else heard this? I remember when I first heard it I thought “how silly” but then I looked around where I was working at the time and among friends and then started to think there was maybe something to it! This picture defies the idea quite nicely.
