I met Roberta and her husband, Paolo, during their visit to New York a couple of years ago. The two are behind the jewelry company Iosselliani, known for bold and unique designs — and are both so genuinely warm and welcoming in that beautiful way Italians are! So of course they invited the team to their home on a recent trip to Rome…
When you step into their home, you instantly feel like you’re a million miles away from the busy Italian capital. Almost like you’re on vacation (which, when we’re out of New York we kind of are). Every room is saturated in natural light, and I’m in love with the seamless flow from indoor to outdoor living space. It’s a complete escape, a place where you could while away hours in the sun.
What would be your perfect summer home? And where would it be?
Merci pour cette visite, son intérieur est très chouette et il donne envie de partir en vacances. Je ne connais pas Rome, mais maison est très dépaysante et donne envie de visiter cette ville.

A part deux ou trois choses que je n’aime pas, comme les “écritures” en déco, la plaque de Mao (bof), c’est très joli et reposant. Les bijoux aussi.
J’aime beaucoup le style, c’est frais et personnel… Pour moi, je crois que la maison d’été parfaite serait proche de la rivière, avec un grand jardin très vert, des murs en pierre et très peu de meubles… avec une jolie terrasse pour passer des soirées à boire du rosé entre amis (je ne rêve que de frais en ce moment…)
What I would do for that hammock and water lily garden! Wowzers, what a place to call home! Love their jewelry collection, too! Great artists live in beautiful inspiring places!! xo

J’adore la salle à manger, la couleur verte des mur, la verdure à proximité… en fait j’adore le style architectural et design bresilien et certains points de cette maison m’y font penser :)
J’adore quand vous faites des reportages design d’intérieur, parce j’adore le design intérieur et parce que j’adore l’atmosphère que vous faites toujours ressortir de vos photos
Quand on dit que l’Italie, c’est le pays de la beauté, ce n’est pas un cliché. L’esthétisme leur coule dans les veines.

Wow, this is what I love about Italians and Italian design. You rightfully highlighted the old photo in the last picture. Something like that can neither be bought, nor pre-conceived. Just beautiful!!
